Private debt management from origination to investor reporting in one platform.
Private debt managers running on spreadsheets and disconnected point solutions face a familiar problem: covenant monitoring happens manually, payment reconciliation lives in Excel, and investor reporting requires stitching together data from multiple sources. Silcube was built to replace that stack with a single platform covering the full workflow from loan origination through to investor reporting. Founded in Finland in 2020, it originated as an in-house tool for a Luxembourg-based fund manager before spinning out as an independent product focused specifically on private debt and trade finance.
The platform addresses three distinct workflow stages that previously required separate tools:
For family offices with direct lending or asset-backed lending activity, Silcube offers multi-currency and multi-portfolio support, automated investor factsheet generation, and collateral mark-to-market tracking. The platform runs on Microsoft Azure infrastructure in Ireland and provides documented APIs for integration with existing systems. Pricing scales by number of users, AUM, and service level, with a free-until-first-closing model for new managers. Specific pricing figures are not publicly disclosed. The platform is designed for direct lending and trade finance use cases, so family offices with broader alternative investment portfolios spanning private equity or real assets will find the scope narrow. Teams primarily needing general portfolio analytics or multi-asset consolidated reporting should evaluate whether the private debt focus covers enough of their workflow to justify adoption.
The Total Return Analysis, which Silcube created per my request for my fund, was awesome because the gross IRR of an investment can be very different from the total shareholder return.
