Apliqo

Apliqo is a financial planning and analysis platform built on IBM Planning Analytics / TM1, the OLAP engine widely used by finance teams running complex, multi-dimensional planning models. Rather than replacing TM1, Apliqo layers a no-code user experience, pre-built financial applications, and AI-assisted analytics on top of it, which means firms already invested in IBM’s infrastructure can modernise their workflows without migrating to a different core system. That specificity is the defining architectural choice: Apliqo is not a generic FP&A tool, but a specialisation layer for TM1 environments.

For family office finance teams managing entity-level planning, consolidated close, or private markets portfolio monitoring, Apliqo offers four distinct product modules:

• Apliqo UX: a no-code interface builder for role-based dashboards, planning inputs, and reporting apps
• Apliqo FPM: pre-built financial planning with driver-based models, scenario versioning, and a three-statement financial model
• Apliqo CC: consolidation and close reporting
• Apliqo LP PM: portfolio analytics for private markets investors, covering LP and fund-level data

The Virtual Analyst module adds AI-driven variance analysis, anomaly detection, and natural language commentary generation directly inside the UX layer, with LLM integration for automated narrative reporting. Connectors to SAP, Xero, DATEV, Salesforce, and Python-based integrations are available out of the box. The platform supports cloud or on-premise deployment and carries ISO 27001 compliance.

Apliqo is a strong fit for finance teams already running IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 who want to upgrade the user experience and add structured FP&A applications without rebuilding their data foundation. Teams not on TM1 would need to adopt that engine alongside Apliqo, which adds implementation complexity and cost that pricing pages do not publicly disclose.
